Children’s Director – Christine Kirkendoll
My husband and I moved to Vilonia in March of 2009 and shortly after began visiting the Liberty Church of the Nazarene. We both immediately felt like a needed part of the family. We became members of the church on May 23, 2010 . Prior to joining Liberty, Shane and I commuted to Walnut Grove Community Church between Clinton and Scotland, AR from 2007 to 2009. I was deployed to Iraq in 2008 with Alpha Company 217th Brigade Support Battalion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Technology from Arkansas Tech University. I currently work for the Arkansas Department of Health Engineering Section as a Technical Support Engineer. I provide technical support for drinking water systems to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act.
I met my husband, Shane, while we were both attending Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. We graduated from Tech in May 2007 and married on May 26, 2007. We have a little baby girl Sonya Grace.
I enjoy many things in life but I would not call them hobbies. Some of the things I enjoy doing is reading, sewing, and hiking on occasion. Most of all I like being around other people serving God. I enjoy working with children. Their faith is truly inspiring. I love preparing for the children’s lessons, I feel close to God knowing that the same words that can touch a child’s heart and life can touch my heart and life just a profoundly. It is like the Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3-4.
